Trang Island
The islands off of Trang can be seen hugging the shoreline. Numbering over forty, it is possible to arrange a package tour to see the majority of them. Because they are so close, it is not necessary to spend the night.
Location
The Pak Meng Pier is the starting point for your journey. This is where you will rent the long-tail boat to take you on your adventure. This pier is located forty-seven kilometers from the city of Trang.
Highlights Koh Libong: Koh Libong is the largest of the Trang Islands. There are three Muslim communities that make this island home. Along the beach is sea grass, which is the main food source for the dugong. Among the more popular beaches are Laem Chuhoi, Had Toab, Had Thung Ya Kha, Had Sai Yao, and Ao Toh Kae. Ao Toh Kae is unique in that is completely covered in black stones.
Koh Kradan: Koh Kradan is considered the most beautiful beach on the island. However, if it becomes crowded, there
are four other beaches where you can swim and bask in the sun. Near the National Park Ranger Unit there are campsites and other accommodations.
Koh Chuak-Koh Ma-Koh Waen : These three islands are craggy formations jutting out of the sea. There are no beaches here, but this is the best place for snorkeling and diving. How to Get There
From the town of Trang, take Highway 4046 to Sikao. Drive for thirty kilometers until you reach Highway 4162. Turn left here and continue for ten kilometers to the Had Pak Meng Pier. From here you can rent a boat to the islands.
