The Tad Mok Waterfall stands over 700 meters high. In the past, the locals believed that the water came from the sky since the top was not visible. During the rainy season, this majestic waterfall is even more dramatic.
Location
The Tad Mok National Park lies next to the Nam Nao National Park in the Phetchabun Province. This mountainous province separates Isan (Northeast Thailand) and Northern Thailand. The National Park Office is located in Tambon Na Pai.

Highlights

The Tad Mok Waterfall: This tall and narrow waterfall displays its greatness sheltered within the thriving green forest. At the bottom is a Sala, a wooden open-air shelter, where you can sit and enjoy the scenery.

The Song Nang Waterfall: The Song Nang is fed by the runoff from the Tad Mok fall. There are twelve levels to be enjoyed and a path which
leads to the Tad Mok. The best time to visit is during the rainy season when the surge is the heaviest.

The Pha Sawan Viewpoint: This viewpoint offers views of the Loei River, Phu Ho, Phu Luang, and the Phu Kradueng as well as a majority of the Loei Province.
The Pha Nam Thiang Viewpoint: The Pha Nam Thiang Viewpoint sits atop a cliff that stands guard over the Loei River. From here you can observe the many different types of rocks that make up the cliff.

How to Get There
From Phetchabun, take the road leading to Ban Chaliang Lap for twelve kilometers. Turn at the Hua Yai-Ban Nam Rom Road and drive for 500 meters. When you reach Highway 2275, take the small path that crosses the rice fields. Continue driving for nineteen kilometers until you reach the entrance to the National Park. The total distance from Phetchabun is thirty-one kilometers.
