Phu Rua National Park is located in both Amphoe Phu Rua and Amphoe Tha Li in the Loei Province. This mountainous area stands at 1,305 meters above sea level.
Highlights

: The Phu Rua Summit is convenient to visit. By car, you can reach the top within minutes. Along the way, there are many rock gardens and plants to be enjoyed. Once atop the mountain, you will be looking out over a sea of fog where only the highest peaks can be seen floating above it.

Noi is three kilometers from the
National Park. Early risers will
want to come to watch the sunrise.
Those who are apt to sleep in can
still enjoy the views of Phu Luang.

: Pha Sap Thong is two and a half kilometers from the National Park Office. Pha Sap Thong is a beautiful marsh broken up by craggy spires.
: The Huai Phai Waterfall is two kilometers from the National Park Office. In order to reach this waterfall you will have to walk. However, since you'll be walking through the thick bamboo forest, the journey is almost as scenic as the destination.
Take Highway 203 from the Loei Province to Phu Rua for fifty kilometers. Turn right and proceed for four kiiome-ters to the National Park Office. The total distance from Loei is fifty-four kilometers.
