Doi Hua Mae Kham is located on the border of Myanmar in Amphoe Mae Chan in the Chaing Rai Province. This area stands at 1,850 meters above sea level. During the cool season the hills are covered with blooming Dok Bua Tong (Mexican sunflower). This area attracts Thais from all over the kingdom to see this colorful display of nature.

: Doi Hua Mae Kham is close to the town of Chaing Rai. Tourists who don't have much time can drive to both Doi Mae Salong and Doi Hua Mae Kham.
From the town of Chaing Rai, take Highway 1 to Mae Chan, Then turn left to Highway 1103 to Doi Hua Mae Kham. The total distance from Chaing Rai is 100 kilometers.
