Let’s Celebrate Aki Matsuri 2010 Japanese Autumn Festival in the Little Osaka area
Aki Matsuri 2010, organised by Kasemkij Group, the owner of Cape, Kantary and Kameo Collections, aims to exchange higher cultural understanding between the Thai and Japanese people. This event is also aimed at showing appreciation for our Japanese guests. Aki Matsuri 2010 was held on Saturday, November 20 from 6:00 pm till late at Cape Racha Hotel, Sriracha, otherwise known as ‘Little Osaka’.
Aki Matsuri is a widely-revered Japanese festival that celebrates the coming of the autumn. The whole family can participate in the activities. All four hotels of our Cape, Kantary, and Kameo Collections are located in the business centre of Sriracha District, where many Japanese shops and restaurants are prevalent. Subsequently, this area has come to be known as Little Osaka. The Aki Matsuri festival was first launched here in 2009 and was such a success that this year we decided to run it again. Moreover, the income after expenses will be donated to the Thai Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
This year, besides many the shops at the event, you can also try dishes from our restaurants such as Le Marin Restaurant, California Steak Restaurant, Il Terrazzo Restaurant, The Orchard Restaurant, No.43 Italian Bistro Restaurant.
In addition to the beautiful decorations there is also a big stage set in the middle of the event to be ready for shows such as Japanese Super Hero Show for children. There are fun games for children and adults, such as balloon shooting or catching eggs, with prizes to be won.
Cape Racha general manager Sathavuth Sermprasert comments, "Aki Matsuri 2010 is the second time we will run this festival after its success last year and we would like to welcome all of you to join us at Aki Matsuri 2010 and I can guarantee that everyone will have a great time. Moreover, there is no entrance fee for this event”
Besides the attractive decorations our guests will make event even more memorable with colourful Japanese traditional outfits and a fireworks show, sure to be the highlight of the festival. More than 300 people are expected to attend.
